Roy Attree Dey was born in 1932.
He started in the meat industry in 1955 working for different plants and different markets. In 1955 he began the chilled business in Argentina with the Swiss market.
In 1989 he started the Maredo brand in Argentina for Maredo-Transmeat Import-Export GmbH in Germany being responsible for the high quality of Maredo brand until 2006, when he retired from the meat industry.
He translated this book into English and helped by adding a commentary about the history of the process.
